1856 An envelope bearing a 6d mauve embossed issue paying the Officers rate to Lieut Col C. Cocks, of the Coldstream Guards, British Army, Crimea, being tied by the London 26 numeral in black ink and bearing on reverse the Charing Cross straight line handstamp in blue ink and dated on reverse for OC 22 1856.
