Victoria: a fine/very fine used 4 margin 1d intense black (early impression) stamp lettered S H. Margins range from close to good. Cancelled by a superb red Maltese cross. Marked by a previous owner as plate 1a, which I believe to be correct. This is ONE stamp on 2 different colour backgrounds. CONDITION AS PER 600dpi. Most of the stamps were collected between 1965 – 1978 when I was in school and college. For the Elizabeth II commeratives I usually walked down to the Post Office for all the new issues and bought a mint set and sent myself a First Day Cover. At first they went into hinged albums but from about 1969 they went into stock albums – where they have been until now. I will mention if the mint stamps have ever been hinged. UP TO 5 ITEMS COST THE SAME. I don’t want to do this but I have to because of the number of unpaid invoices and/or no contact that I have been experiencing recently. If there is an issue we can work it out. I’ll work with you to correct any problem, but if you don’t let me know there is a problem I can’t do anything about it. This DOES NOT include lots of over 8 stamps as I can’t always check each stamp thoroughly.
