Victoria: scarce plate 15, 4d vermillion. Very fine used on a wrapper sent from LEEDS (clear 447 duplex cancellation, dated 13 MY’76) to Naples via Calais. Stamp has full perfs. Some discolouration to the wrapper and some filing creases well away from the stamp. Unreadable locations on transit and receiving cancellations on back: 17 Mag’76 in red and 18 Mag in black. CONDITION AS PER 600dpi. Most of the stamps were collected between 1965 – 1978 when I was in school and college. For the Elizabeth II commeratives I usually walked down to the Post Office for all the new issues and bought a mint set and sent myself a First Day Cover. At first they went into hinged albums but from about 1969 they went into stock albums – where they have been until now. I will mention if the mint stamps have ever been hinged. UP TO 5 ITEMS COST THE SAME. I don’t want to do this but I have to because of the number of unpaid invoices and/or no contact that I have been experiencing recently. If there is an issue we can work it out. I’ll work with you to correct any problem, but if you don’t let me know there is a problem I can’t do anything about it. This DOES NOT include lots of over 8 stamps as I can’t always check each stamp thoroughly. This item is in the category “Stamps\Great Britain\Victoria”.
